·         A logical network diagram shows the connection between network devices such as voice gateways, routers and firewalls. Whereas the physical network diagram represents the network devices which are physically connected together such as patch panels, interfaces, cables, fiber.

·         According to me, a logical network diagram shows how network devices appear connected to the user. On the other hand, physical topology shows how the network devices are interconnected with cables and wires.
