The Object-Oriented Methodology (OOM) is a system development method to facilitate and encourage the reuse of software components. With this approach, on the basis of the component computer system can be developed that allows the efficient reuse of current facilitates and components the sharing of its elements by other systems.
The Object-Oriented Methodology (OOM) is a new approach to system development, facilitating and encouraging the re-use of software components. The OOM deploys standard of UML from the Management Group (OMG). Using this approach, a system can be developed on elements basis that further allows the efficient re-use of current components, it facilitates the sharing of its other components of the system.
As per my knowledge, there are three types of Object-Oriented Methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP), Object-Process Methodology (OPM), and Object Modelling techniques (OMT). The Object-modeling technique is initially introduced in 1991 by Rumbaugh. There are three different models object model, dynamic model, and functional model that are included in the OMT models. The Object process methodology also is known as second-generation methodology and the diagram that is used explain the architecture of a system is known as Object Process Diagram (OPD). The TUP consists of four phases such as Inception, elaboration, construction, and transition.
