It helps in getting creative ideas from various minds, and these can be collaborated to form the best. More and more content is written by the students in their essays, but the main quality of the content is that it should be creative, ingenious and original. The students often look for creative writing experts for their essays. It is a practice followed by the students of USA due to the guidelines of the universities which have been made robust because of the hike in competition level. Let us have a look at the rules for group brainstorming before putting your hands on the keyboard to craft an essay.

  1. Positivity- Be negative about being negative. Here, don’t compare or criticise the ideas proposed by other people.
  2. All-around validity- At this stage of writing an essay, everything seems to be valid.
  3. One more- Try to think of one more idea.
  4. No storytelling- Here, one should resist all the tangents such as joking and storytelling. All the group members should equally participate in the discussion to maintain the group’s energy.
  5. No judgment- One should make it a judgment-free zone to support every idea proposed.

Time to talk about the strategies to organize the ideas.

  1. Viewpoints for examination-

As of now, we have collected the ideas and topics of writing an essay, it is time to examine them from viewpoints. Describing the topic is the first step, so write what the topic is. The comparison is the next index on which the ideas are to be examined. The next important pointer here is checking the association of a particular idea, that is what made you think of it. Analysing the constituents of the ideas make the next point in the list of examiners. Look for the ways in which they can be applied in the content creatively. The last step here would be getting to know whether the collected ideas be used in support or the opposition of the topic proposed.

  1. Know what you want to communicate-

If you are writing an essay, then you must know the key points you wish the reader to comprehend. Write down the single words and phrase which would back the content of your essay. Jot down the list of facts, arguments, questions, opinions, components etc.

Tip- don’t begin to create an outline for your essay at this point.

  1. Just write it-

Rather than editing the content after writing a page or two, try to do freewriting. Make the corrections after you are done writing.

  1. Making connections-

It is also called webbing or clustering of the ideas on a writing surface and then connecting them by making associations.

To ease this process, use colour coding or use distinct patterns to link them.

After you are done with all these steps, go for creating an outline. Develop all the pieces of the essays separately and if you wish, change the sequence of the sections you do and then combine them to make a perfect piece of writing.
