There are three main branches of Science. These are:
1.    The Physical Sciences
2.    The Earth Sciences
3.    The Life Sciences

The Physical Sciences
•    Chemistry: The composition, properties, reactions, and the structure of matter are studied in this branch of science. For instance, the chemist Louis Pasteur, discovered pasteurization which refers to the process of heating the liquids like orange juice and milk with the objective of killing harmful germs.
