In every year, the company serves more than thirty million customers. The company is also the largest shareholder with 80 percent Interest and becomes the global airline alliance. Qantas – The brand of Qantas is operated in both Australia and International flights. The airline services of these brands include marketing and customer operations. Other brands of Qantas involve Qantas link and Qantas local network.
Qantas Freight – The Qantas Fright involves business flight services and Qantas air cargo. These services operate within the Star Express brands, Qantas Freight and Australian Express.

Qantas Management Hierarchy
In the management hierarchy of Qantas, it has an exclusive system of divisional functioning as same as the different multinational corporations. The Hierarchy management of Qantas involves three levels named – Top level, Secondary level and Ground staff level. These levels are discussed as follows –

- Top level – The Top Level of Qantas comprises the Board of Directors with not more than 8 members headed by the President. The team of the board of directors is the functional part that is consisted at the apex level. This team is divided into various committees named remunerations, security, health, audit, environment, nominations etc. According to the market conditions and specific priorities, the management of Qantas domestic and Qantas International are divided into different business management units. Thus, it promotes specialization and division. Each division in the Qantas company has different Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Apart from it, each division has non – executive directors headed by the board that ensures the functional efficiency of the business.
- Secondary level – Secondary level involves Business Executive Team who focuses on the different plans, procedures and the strategy executions. At the apex level, the executive team brings the plans in order to form the actions at a basic level. The business executive team also makes the technical actions that are essential in every airline industry. The functions of a Business executive at this level is mainly divided into 12 parts such as – domestic, technology, legal affairs, loyalty, IT, jester, finances, resources etc. These functions are also performed and managed by air professionals and managers. The managers perform all the tasks that are required by the organization for prior skill development.
- Ground staff level – It is the lowest level in the Qantas management hierarchy that consists of the people works as the ground staff at the planes, runways, airports etc. The ground staff performs efficiently in different platforms due to the support system of the management. Thus, the hard work and diligence of the employees develop an exponential rate of effectiveness in the airline industry.
